Oregon CIM
The Themes in American History Project is working with teachers to develop high quality instructional units tied to state and national standards in social studies and history.
The approach of the project is to identify five to six themes in American history that have emerged as important across multiple time periods and that can be integrated into the teaching of American history at multiple grade levels.
For each theme there will be an alignment of content and processes with state and national standards.
